Zebra Shark Pup

Zebra Sharks have striped markings as pups but as they get older their markings spread and turn into spots.

It was once thought that Zebra Sharks and Leopard Sharks were separate species, but genetic testing found they were actually the exact same animal!

Our Zebra Shark Pups are hand painted with non-toxic fabric dye to do justice to their truly unique markings. This means that although they will be similar to those pictured, their skin patterns will all vary slightly. 

Designed and handmade with love in Tasmania, using primarily 100% Merino Wool felt combined with other natural and sustainably sourced materials. This makes them incredibly tactile, with a variety of textures to explore, especially their fluffy bellies! 

Unlike most plush toys on the market, rather than being stuffed with purpose made polyester fibre, these pups are full of recycled PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) made from recycled plastic bottles, making their insides non-allergenic and antibacterial.

Each shark repurposes 30 plastic bottles, and can be recycled again at the end of their long and happy life.
