This special sea friend's markings are made using bundle dyeing techniques on 100% merino wool felt with bull kelp from the shores of Marrawah, Tasmania.
Zebra sharks have striped markings as pups but as they get older their markings spread and turn into spots. This is why they can also be known as Leopard Sharks, nifty!
Designed and handmade with love in Tasmania, using natural and sustainably sourced materials. This makes them incredibly tactile, with a variety of textures to explore, especially their fluffy bellies!
Unlike most plush toys on the market, rather than being stuffed with purpose made polyester fibre, these pups are full of recycled PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) made from recycled plastic bottles, making their insides non-allergenic and antibacterial.
Each shark repurposes 30 plastic bottles, and can be recycled again at the end of their long and happy life.
