Our Wattle-gong pups are a special variation of our favourite Carpet Shark. Made from felt that has been hand-dyed using bundling techniques and sustainably foraged coastal wattle species.
Each one is truly unique.
Designed and handmade with love in Tasmania, using primarily 100% Merino Wool felt combined with other natural and sustainably sourced materials. They are incredibly tactile, with a variety of textures to explore, including a fluffy belly!
These pups are on a mission to spread the word about the environmental changes endangering our oceans/waterways, one cuddle at a time.
Unlike most plush toys on the market, rather than being stuffed with purpose made polyester fibre, they are full of recycled PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) made from recycled plastic bottles making their insides non-allergenic and antibacterial.
Each one repurposes 30 plastic bottles, which can be recycled again at the end of their long and happy life.
