Two of my favourite seaweed shapes come together in this piece, one with spiky edges and the other softer and more rounded. Collected while floating through the rock pools of Skeleton Bay, their forms leave behind pale, subtle impressions across the silk.
The unpredictable nature of the process means this piece cannot be recreated.

Bundle dyeing is a slow, hands-on process where natural materials such as seaweed and leaves are wrapped into fabric and gently steamed or submerged in dye, leaving behind soft, unpredictable traces of their natural colour and shape.
