A pelican perched on his favourite rock, looking down on those below. From his granite throne he keeps watch over the rock pools of Skeleton Bay, seemingly very pleased with his choice of vantage point. King of the Castle gives one of the bay’s regulars the title he likely assigned himself long ago.
Cyanotype is an early photographic process where negatives are placed on top of a light-sensitive emulsion, then exposed to UV to create an image.
