The eucalyptus trees that inhabit the coast of Binalong Bay periodically drop their leaves into the rock pools below. It is here that I find them. This salty pre-soak streamlines the dyeing process, and helps create the defined stamp-like details that float across this piece.
The unpredictable nature of the process means this piece cannot be recreated.
