Doug the Dugong

Doug is designed and handmade with love in Tasmania, using primarily 100% Merino Wool felt combined with other natural and sustainably sourced materials.

This makes him incredibly tactile, with a variety of textures to explore, especially his fluffy snout! 

Doug is on a mission to spread the word about the environmental changes endangering our oceans/waterways, one cuddle at a time.

Unlike most plush toys on the market, rather than being stuffed with purpose made polyester fibre, Doug is full of recycled PET derived from recycled plastic bottles.  

Each Doug repurposes 50 plastic bottles, which can be recycled again at the end of Doug's long and happy life.
